" I have been using Lodgeware in my motels for the past five years. I looked for a user friendly reservation system that was able to make my reservations, look after the money, and give me reports that I can use to help me in my business. Lodgeware fit the bill! " When my wife and I purchased Hillwinds Lodge, a thirty room motel in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire in early 2006, we were totally new to the business of operating a motel, and the software we inherited with the business was an old DOS system which was totally inadequate for today’s fast-paced environment. One of our first major activities was to search for and purchase a new reservation system. We decided to purchase LodgeWare by Dynacode, and we have not regretted our choice for one instant. We currently use the system on a three-computer networkwith a server/terminal at the check-in desk, a terminal in the back office, and a terminal in our living quarters. We have found the system to be extremely intuitive, with multiple ways to accomplish tasks (pull down menus, point and click operations, etc.), and very simple to use. Whenever we did have difficulties (usually self-inflicted), the Dynacode staff always seemed to be there, even on nights and weekends which are so critical to our operation. Also, many of the changes that we have suggested over time have been implemented in newer releases of Lodgeware. It is really gratifying to know that the software company does listen to our suggestions. If we had the choice to make over, we would most certainly choose LodgeWare again, and would recommend it highly to anyone in the hospitality business needing a reliable, easy-to-learn and easy-to-use use reservation system. "

" First and foremost was product support. We're a small operation and, as a Monastery, our expertise is in areas other than software. Somebody who could walk us through the demonstration of the software, the installation of the software and conversion of our previous data, and the tailoring of the software to our particular operation was essential. Second was the ability of Lodgeware to our accommodate our operation. We're a Monastic guesthouse that primarily serves individuals and groups who are on spiritual retreat. We really needed a system with the power to manage groups of different size and type, since about two thirds of our occupancy is from groups. Lodgeware has served us very well in this regard. Third we needed a system that was pretty intuitive. Most of the time our front desk is staffed by Monks or volunteers. A complicated user interface will simply not work in that environment. The only hurdle with Lodgeware was getting folks comfortable using the right mouse button. A fourth consideration was to have a stable, multi-user system. Our physical plant spans about a quarter mile from end to end so we have to be able to answer questions from various, distant locations. Lodgeware installed easily and runs easily on computers throughout our complex, running in a very stable way across our existing network. Bugs have been few and easily dealt with. Technical support has been responsive, patient, and helpful "

" I have been very pleased with Lodgeware. It has been extremely useful for our purposes. We have a small resort with varying types of accommodations. We have eight condos which can be sub-divided into 16 units; we also have six large cabins plus a remote lodge. Altogether we have a capacity for 146 at one location and 24 at the remote location. Lodgeware has allowed us the flexibility we need to immediately visualize possibilities for groups as well as individuals. Although I am the primary operator/user, the ease of use of this program has made it possible for multiple users to safely and successfully check-in guests and verify status of reservations. We researched many lodging programs before buying Lodgeware, and there was an enormous difference in cost. We were thrilled at the savings as well as the performance of the product. Thank you! "
